Behind the brand

Hi, I’m Anastasia, a fashion designer, costume designer, and corset maker living in Lafayette, California with a mission to bring your design visions to life. 

I started SIVANA in 2016 because I knew how limited and uninspiring the mainstream retail options for women often are, and saw the potential to bring a new provider of custom apparel to the Bay Area. However, my love for needlework started years earlier, in my childhood home where everything we wore was sewn by hand.

Ultimately, my family story led me to the dream of graduating from the fashion-forward design school and launching my own brand. Armed with new skills and a Master of Arts in Fashion Design, my purpose became clear.

Today, I specialize in special occasion wear, including evening gowns, wedding dresses, and corsets that are thoughtful, timeless, and inclusive.

Alongside made-to-order apparel, SIVANA has participated in various theater, cinema, and photography productions as a standalone costume and styling department.

All of our apparel is made and fitted in sunny Bay Area, California.
Depending on your preferred style, we may source materials from around the world.
But rest assured, you’ll be supporting the local community and independent designers all throughout the process.
